One of my best friends always says “Amanda, you ain’t gon bussa grape!” And for the most part she’s been right. I get so wrapped up in “doing it” that it never gets done. I have had this idea for a website and advice line for awhile now but never did anything about it. Thinking it’s not the right time… Who would call my hotline… Is this a viable idea or is this just stupid??? Then it hit me, a P O D C A S T! Why not a podcast?

Well, who would listen in? Who in the world would call in? I think I have good advice but would other people appreciate a Mediator’s objectivity? Who knows? And I’m not waiting any longer to find out. Hence Miss-Understandings.com

Yesterday, I attended the funeral of a dear friend. She was the best at not waiting! She was a Chief encourager and life’s greatest Cheerleader! Listening to all that spoke about her she never waited, she was always prepared… jumping right in the mix! Not waiting was the blessing I got from her and our time and conversations spent together.

Me on the other hand, my jumping in the mix looks crazy! I’m usually not paying close attention and before I know it I am somewhere I hadn’t intended. Like Jonah… you know the story of Jonah from the Good Book, Jonah and the Whale. I remember this story from a little girl, Jonah was told by God to go and speak to His people about their evil ways. Jonah didn’t intended on following God’s instructions. God urged Jonah but in the end he chose to run away. Jonah, thought he could out run what God told him to do🤣🤣🤣. In running away from God he found himself on a boat trying to leave God behind. Anyway, while on the boat God politely reminds Jonah of what he should be doing and Jonah gets scared! Jumps right out the boat, into the ocean and gets swallowed by a whale! Now isn’t that crazy!!! Welp, that’s me, into something crazy cause I wasn’t listening to God.

Well, the life my dear friend Chuandra lived has spoken to me and God, I am listening. I know I am not finished 😉 and I plan to keep going! Lord, I know you have already gone before me to make room for who I am. It’s Your Kingdom and I am spreading Good News of peace, joy and understanding byway of Miss-Understandings.com I hope you are well pleased. And for my readers, I hope you are too!
